A Traineeship is a programme designed for 16 – 18-year-olds to help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the workplace.

Our Traineeship offer is a 12 – 24 week programme consisting of weekly sessions covering a variety of topics, such as developing a CV, preparing for a work placement and applying for a job.

The programme will also consist of a work placement with an employer to give the learner practical experience of the working environment.

Learners will work towards the completion of a work Skills Level 2 qualification throughout the programme, as well as English & Maths Functional Skills as needed.

Upon completion of the traineeship, we will be able to advise the best steps in order to work towards the learner’s goals, with Apprenticeships being an ideal option to continue their development. You can find out more about the apprenticeship programmes offered by Prostart here
